Job Title: Graduate Quality Advisor
Reporting to: Business Unit General Manager (Line) / Regional Quality Manager (Functional)
Role purpose
To support the delivery of quality excellence across the Business Unit by assisting with the implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS). The Graduate Quality Advisor will work closely with operational teams, project managers and the SHEQ team to ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements and international standards.
The role provides an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop knowledge and experience in quality assurance, auditing, continuous improvement, quality management systems, and construction/infrastructure project delivery.
The role requires approximately 70–80% travel to project locations across the UK.
Responsibilities & Duties
Including but not limited to the following:
Support the Quality team in delivering quality improvement initiatives across the Business Unit.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
Support project teams in developing and maintaining Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
Monitor quality records and ensure project documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Assist with quality inspections, audits and site visits.
Support the management of non-conformances and corrective actions.
Participate in root cause investigations and lessons learned activities.
Support document control processes and ensure records are maintained in accordance with business procedures.
Assist with monitoring quality performance and reporting against quality KPIs.
Help deliver quality inductions, toolbox talks and awareness sessions.
Liaise with project teams, subcontractors and suppliers on quality-related matters.
Assist with maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable management system standards.
Participate in internal and external audits as required.
Support continuous improvement projects and process reviews.
Maintain professional development through training, mentoring and participation in quality-related learning activities.
Comply with all Omexom SHEQ policies, procedures and standards.

Qualifications and experience
The jobholder shall be a motivated self-starter, possessing:
Degree (or expected degree) in:
Quality Management
Engineering
Construction Management
Business Management
Environmental Management
Or a related discipline
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Full UK Driving Licence or willingness to obtain one within an agreed period.
Willingness to travel regularly to project sites.
Desirable
Understanding of Quality Management Systems.
Awareness of ISO 9001 requirements.
Placement year, internship or work experience within engineering, construction, utilities or infrastructure.
Membership or interest in the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI).
Internal Auditor training.
