Job Title: Planner
Reporting to: Senior Project Manager

Purpose of the Position:
A P6 Primavera Planning Engineer to support the site with the Construction Program in line with the requirements of the SSE Specification WI-NET-GOV-525.
This post will be hybrid with at least 2-3 days being site based at Fort Augustus. The Planer will be responsible for managing the P6 program so that it provides the information required to align with the clients Specification Document.
They will be required to consult with the site team to review progress and implement this into the program. This will also include the subcontractors’ programs and the procurement schedule.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Responsible for the main construction program.
· Develop and maintain detailed, logic-driven project schedules across the full lifecycle of construction, commissioning, and energisation.
· Partner closely with the teams including site delivery, commercial, external subcontractors, and client.
· Carry our delay analysis and assess change impacts to comply with NEC3 and client requirements.
· Produce clear reports that highlight progress, risk, opportunities, and trends.
· Review, challenge and integrate subcontractors and suppliers’ programs.
Updating and maintenance of the program in line with the client requirements
Liaison with the subcontractors to discuss changes and program.
Update the Procurement tracker within the program.
Provide impacted programs for change management.
Inclusion of all change management events
Liaison with the Site Team to update and record actual progress against planned.
Update and issue the program on a weekly basis.
Prepare and update a 1 week, 4 week and 3 months look ahead program.
Upload the P6 program monthly to the client using Sypro contract management software.
Attend site 2-3 days per week.
Attend planning meetings as required with client or Omexom staff.

Competencies
Required skills, knowledge, and abilities:
· The ideal candidate will have previous experience of planning in an HV electrical environment ideally substations up to 400Kv.
· A knowledge of NEC3 Option A contracts would be preferable as you will be involved in providing impacted programs for the change management process.
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work on own initiative.
