HR Analyst
Job Title: HR Analyst
Contract Type: Fixed term – 12 months
Reporting to: HR Manager
Role Purpose
Working cross-functionally to resolve data inconsistencies, streamline reporting processes, and deliver actionable insights that support strategic HR decision-making; the HR Analyst will proactively lead the data cleanse, optimisation, and enhancement of our HR systems and reporting infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring our HR data is accurate, our reporting is insightful, and our systems are aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities & Duties
Data & Systems Integrity
Audit, cleanse, and maintain HR data across all Company systems (e.g., employee records, job profiles, compensation data)
Identify and resolve data quality issues and inconsistencies
Collaborate with IT and vendors to troubleshoot system errors and improve functionality
Reporting & Analytics
Design, build, and maintain HR dashboards and reports using our HR system ADP, Excel and Power BI
Translate complex data into clear insights for HR and business leaders
Monitor key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, retention, diversity, time-to-hire) and provide trend analysis
Strategic Support
Support workforce planning, talent management, and compensation analysis through data-driven insights
Contribute to HR projects such as process and system upgrades
Assist in benchmarking and external data comparisons to inform HR strategy
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with HR teams, managers, and leadership to understand data needs and deliver solutions
Train HR colleagues on data entry standards, reporting tools, and system usage
Document processes and create user guides for reporting and system workflows
Cross-System Data Integrity & Collaboration
Ensure accurate and timely flow of HR-related data (e.g., compensation, benefits, job changes, new hires) into finance and payroll systems
Collaborate with Finance, Payroll, and IT teams to align data structures, resolve discrepancies, and maintain consistency across platforms
Monitor and reconcile data between HRIS and downstream systems to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Develop and maintain documentation for data flows, integration points, and validation processes
Support audits and compliance checks by ensuring HR data is complete, traceable, and aligned with financial records
Qualifications and Experience
The jobholder must be a results-focused self-starter with the enthusiasm, motivation and initiative to succeed in this role, possessing:
Proven experience in HR analytics, HRIS management, or data reporting
Strong knowledge of HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle)
Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Desirable:
Experience of ADP HR & Payroll system would be an advantage
