Job Title: L&D Trainer
Reporting to: L&D Business Partner
Business Unit: Omexom Institute
Role Purpose
The L&D Trainer will assist with training content creation and delivery. The purpose of the role is to design, deliver and evaluate learning and development interventions for Omexom UK & RoI.
Responsibilities & Duties
Including but not limited to the following:
Design, deliver, and evaluate innovative Learning and Development interventions for Omexom UK & RoI, face-to-face or remotely, including management development programmes.
Take ownership of the Project Management training programmes, building on current content and regularly delivering across the business.
Deliver classroom and virtual training sessions which meet identified business requirements.
Evaluate and analyse Learning and Development reports, applying suitable techniques.
Recommend and apply actions to improve Learning and Development performance.
Keep up to date and implement the latest research and theory related to Learning & Development and apply them to learning initiatives as appropriate.
Collaborate and share best practice.
Continually improve learning interventions by assessing their effectiveness and keeping abreast of changes and priorities within the organisation.
Ensure that learning interventions are up to date and reflective of current internal and external practices.
Using project management skills, ensure the smooth implementation and administration of L&D interventions through strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
Coordinate with the Institute team to enable delivery of courses and onsite competence assessments covering our workforce.
Support the development of annual training programmes based on Business Unit forward requirements.

Person Specification
Qualifications and Experience
A minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in a similar Learning and Development role.
Demonstrable experience of training delivery.
Minimum 4 GCSE Standard Grades including Maths & English.
Excellent working knowledge of IT packages including online learning design software and Microsoft Office.
Experience in designing, producing, and implementing effective learning interventions and development plans.
Experience in training needs analysis, general training design, and development.
A solid track record of delivery within a complex business environment where Learning and Development knowledge has been gained.
Excellent influencing skills with strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
Preferable:
Experience in a contracting, engineering, or construction environment.
Degree qualification.
Training qualifications.
Project Management experience.
