Job Title: Business Unit Administrator
Reporting to: L&D Business Partner – Shemaika Hussain
Business Unit: Omexom Institute
Purpose of the Position:
This position will support all aspects of Omexom Institute administration by carrying out general office and training administration.
The role involves working within the Institute team, whilst also interfacing on a regular basis with our Human Resources and business unit teams to ensure optimum training delivery.
The jobholder will contribute to the continuous development of the Omexom Institute through flexibility and adaptability to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities & Duties:
Including, but not limited to the following:
- Manage the daily running of the Castleford premise, including opening the institute, classroom set up, housekeeping and facilities management.
- Support the Omexom Institute team in all administration requirements, including the booking of training, creating training materials and managing employee queries.
- Act as the main contact for all visitors and training attendees at the Castleford premises.
- Updating the BIStrainer system regularly to maintain training records.
- Support with the BIStrainer calendar across the business and ensuring training attendance is monitored and reported.
- Assist with general administration associated with the running of training courses and the Castleford premises.

Person Specification
Qualifications and experience
The jobholder must be a results focused self-starter with the enthusiasm, motivation and initiative to succeed in this role, possessing:
- A minimum of 2 years recent experience in providing administrative support within a busy office environment.
- A good standard of educational attainment with a minimum Grade C GCSE passes in English and Mathematics.
- A good level of IT skills including use of the Microsoft Office package with the ability to quickly learn new skills and become familiar with new software packages.
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, able to relate to staff at all levels.
- Be able to work under pressure, be a team player and have a high level of self-motivation.
- Possess the ability to use your own initiative to ensure new skills and tasks are picked up easily.
